I was tipped off that there was a company advertising itself on Google that was offering to buy Ltd Companies for £1 and a hefty fee so that Directors of those firms could then offload the business and its debts to another Director who will be the ones creditors will then chase. That is of course as dodgy as Rishi Sunak’s ill-fitting trousers.
I visited the website of that company and was presented with the following:
Whilst on the website, up popped a chat box and I asked the following question, and was told to insert an email address and they would be in touch:
This is the email I then received:
Just letting you know it is all a scam. I have alerted the right people to investigate.
